Lassi, a yogurt-based drink, is a popular choice to beat the summer heat in India. For a refreshing twist, make a Rose Lassi by blending together yogurt, milk, rose syrup, and sugar. Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Rose Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • Fresh Rose Petals for Garnish (Optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar (Adjust According to Taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a Blender, add the plain yogurt, milk, rose syrup, and sugar.
  2. Blend the ingredients on medium speed until they are well combined and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Blend again to incorporate the added sugar.
  4. Once the desired sweetness is achieved, add a few ice cubes to the Blender and blend for a few seconds to chill the lassi.
  5. Take Serving Glasses and fill them with a few more ice cubes.
  6. Pour the rose lassi into the Glasses, dividing it evenly among them.
  7. Garnish each Glass with fresh rose petals, if desired, for an elegant touch.
  8. Serve the Rose Lassi immediately and enjoy the refreshing flavors.
  9. Note: If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a little more milk or water to the lassi and blend it again.
