Crispy Delight: Homemade Paneer Nuggets Recipe

Are you a fan of finger-licking snacks that are not only delicious but also easy to make at home? If so, you're in for a treat! In today's blog post, we'll guide you through the steps of creating the perfect appetizer - Paneer Nuggets. These golden nuggets are not only crispy on the outside but also incredibly soft and flavorful on the inside. Let's dive into the world of homemade goodness with this simple and irresistible recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 250g Paneer (cottage cheese), grated
  • 1 Cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup cornflour
  • 1 Teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (for batter)
  • Oil (for deep frying)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated paneer, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Take small portions of the paneer mixture and roll them into small cylindrical or nugget shapes.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and cornflour. Add water gradually to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Ensure that the batter has a thick consistency.
  4. Dip each paneer nugget into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated. Then, roll the coated nugget in breadcrumbs until it is fully covered. This double coating will give the nuggets an extra crunch.
  5. In a deep Frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. To check if the oil is ready, drop a small piece of breadcrumb into the oil; if it sizzles and rises to the surface, the oil is hot enough.
  6. Carefully place the coated paneer nuggets into the hot oil, a few at a time. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  7. Paneer nuggets are best enjoyed when they are hot and crispy. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.

These crunchy bites of joy are perfect for family gatherings, parties, or even as a quick snack. Experiment with different dipping sauces to elevate the flavors and make this recipe your own. Now, go ahead and treat yourself and your loved ones to the delightful experience of homemade paneer nuggets!
